Danielle Kouhio Depri

Bio

Danielle Kouhio Depri, originally from Paris, is a young public health professional living in Montreal since 2014. Her work focuses mainly on the right of access to health and social services for migrants without RAMQ health insurance and status. Also passionate about photography and cinema, since 2017, she has been a volunteer coordinator for FIFEQ-MTL, an international ethnographic film festival in Quebec where she is also involved in the programming that offers free screenings for the Montreal public. She now wishes to start scriptwriting and directing films on issues and themes that particularly animate her: motherhood, self-sacrifice and self-giving, citizenship at the margins and migratory issues.
