Soumettez votre projet pour intégrer notre programme d’incubation de dix mois, une expérience complète dédiée à valoriser les artistes issu·e·s de communautés sous-représentées. Bénéficiez d’un mentorat personnalisé, une formation au pitching et l’opportunité de briller au fameux événement de pitch et réseautage: Le Pitch Cuban Hat de Makila ! Cette année notre appel à projets prend une dimension encore plus vibrante en collaboration avec nos partenaires Wapikoni Mobile et Réalisatrices Équitables (RÉ), pour toucher une communauté encore plus vaste! Cette collaboration renforce notre démarche inclusive, où nous nous engageons à réserver au moins une place au sein de la cohorte 2024 de l’Inkubateur à des artistes issu·e·s des réseaux respectifs de Wapikoni Mobile et RÉ, garantissant ainsi la diversité et representativité de cette cohorte: au moins un·e participant·e issu·e de communautés autochtones et au moins une participante s’identifiant comme femme auront la chance de participer à l’Inkubateur de Makila ! Pour cette cohorte, nous tissons également un nouveau partenariat avec l’Association des Réalisateurs et Réalisatrices du Québec (ARRQ) qui s’engage à contribuer à la richesse de l'expérience en nous mettant en contact avec des mentor.e.s d'envergure issus de son réseau. Call for Projects: Inkubateur + Cuban Hat Pitch by Makila!

Do you have an idea for an audiovisual work that excites you and that you want to develop into an exceptional proposal? Makila, a digital media cooperative based in Montreal, is calling for creators like you!

Submit your project to join our ten-month incubation program, a comprehensive experience dedicated to empowering artists from underrepresented communities. Benefit from personalized mentoring, pitching training, and the opportunity to shine at the renowned pitch and networking event: Makila's Pitch Cuban Hat !

This year, our call for projects takes on an even more vibrant dimension in collaboration with our partners Wapikoni Mobile and Réalisatrices Équitables (RÉ), to reach an even broader community! This collaboration reinforces our inclusive approach, where we commit to reserving at least one spot in the 2024 cohort of the Inkubator for artists from the respective networks of Wapikoni Mobile and RÉ, thus guaranteeing the diversity and representativeness of this cohort: at least one participant from Indigenous communities and at least one participant identifying as a woman will have the opportunity to participate in Makila's Inkubator!

For this cohort, we are also forging a new partnership with the Association des Réalisateurs et Réalisatrices du Québec (ARRQ), which is committed to enriching the experience by connecting us with prominent mentors from its network.

A new partnership with Coalition M.É.D.I.A allows us to organize face-to-face meetings between producers from their M.É.D.I.A. | Entrepreneurial Pole Training and the participants in our Inkubator who will have presented their projects at the Pitch Cuban Hat.
