Impact producer, director and creative collaborator Jonathan Jude is a self-starting professional in the Canadian documentary and television industry. Jonathan is passionate about telling diverse stories in the digital and television format that revolve around young people.
Jonathan was recognized as a diverse emerging filmmaker to watch by Reel World Film Festival in 2018 for his work with marginalized young people. Jonathan is currently directing a short documentary about Charles Wilton, a disabled boxer called Dream Boxer (CBC). He also recently produced the second season of the series Red Button (CBC), collaborating with young folks from the LGBTQ and disability communities in self-documenting projects.
For the past three years, Jonathan has been working with young people prone to gun activity in Rexdale to bring their stories forward. He is passionate about inspiring change through film and has provided in-kind services for the web series Courtside.
